At Rångedala's lunch restaurant and café in Lundaskog/Borås, we focus on good seasonal ingredients with local ties. A large part of the menu consists of Swedish-grown legumes. The food is prepared with a more modern twist of traditional Swedish cuisine according to the season with a local touch. We serve food cooked from scratch with clear flavors. Simple and nutritious but with finesse. In our Café, we serve delicious pastries with variety, also using seasonal ingredients with local ties.

It should be evident that we have made the food with great consideration for the ingredients we use, where the concept of reducing waste is part of our daily kitchen routine.

We are now looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience working in a café and restaurant environment. We want you to love baking and serving fantastic pastries and sandwiches that are both delicious and visually appealing. You should have a passion for developing, renewing, and trying new combinations to diversify our range. We expect you to be very service-oriented and accustomed to customer interaction. Your energy level needs to be high, and you should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a person, you are positive, responsible, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You need to have good physical stamina as the work is very dynamic.

You will work in a team with two chefs and another restaurant assistant. Your main tasks include ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, where you handle guest transactions at the cash register, serve coffee, maintain cleanliness and order. Baking and simple food preparation are also part of the job. You will have serving responsibilities, so you must be at least 20 years old.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the cash register

- Responsible for restaurant operations

- Lunch service

- Coffee service

- Operation of the coffee machine

- Baking and simple food preparation such as sandwiches, etc.

- Cleaning the restaurant and café area

- Dishwashing and dish collection

Requirements:

- Ability to work independently

- Take initiative for restaurant operations

- At least 2 years of experience in restaurant/service and at least 20 years old

- Service-oriented

- Ability to bake and prepare simple food/pastries and operate any associated machinery
