The operations are led by the operations manager together with the current seven principals who are responsible for their respective school units and operations. In addition to the responsibility for their operations, the principal has a mission to always work for the development of the entire adult education. We call this leading through shared leadership. The management group also includes the unit manager for support activities and the quality and method coordinator.

Job Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the adult education units for admission, support and guidance, as well as administration. You are part of the management group for adult education and work closely with principals, quality and method coordinators, and external partners. In your work, you drive development processes, lead and engage your employees, and ensure that the organization achieves its goals.

Main tasks:

Lead and develop units within admission, support and guidance.
Responsible for personnel, finances, communication, and operational development.
Participate in the municipality's work for competence supply.
Develop collaborations both internally and externally.
Drive development projects that support the organization's long-term goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

Has a relevant university education.
Has experience in leadership within a politically governed organization.
Has worked with admission processes in the education sector.
Is a communicative and relationship-building leader with strategic ability.

Meritorious is experience in conducting development work and working with systems such as Alvis and YH-Admission.
