This recruitment is conducted in collaboration between Momec and NearYou. NearYou is managing the selection process. The position is a permanent employment directly with Momec. Fixed monthly salary and daytime working hours.

Momec is an experienced player in the development and manufacturing of secure and certified steel doors, with over 50 years of experience in the marine and offshore industries. They provide weather- and fireproof sliding doors as well as soundproof cabin doors to shipyards and shipping companies worldwide. In addition to their standard products, Momec creates customized solutions in sheet metal and pipes, and their capacity and expertise are constantly growing in line with demand. Momec is part of the Weland Group and operates in modern facilities in Bottnaryd, where they work on further developing their products and are looking for talents who want to contribute to their growth.

Job Description

As a designer at Momec, your main responsibility will be to develop design and manufacturing documentation for our steel doors and other products. In your role, you will work closely with the production team and our customers to create quality and innovative solutions. The role also involves developing prototypes in sheet metal and using Solid Works as the main tool for product design and documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

A high school or university education in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
Good knowledge of Solid Works and preferably experience with business systems, such as Monitor.
Experience in practical workshop work, especially in sheet metal processing.
A meticulous and structured work style, and enjoys working in a team.
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
