Logistics Officer at the Swedish Armed Forces

Logistics Unit Malmen
The Logistics Unit Malmen supports the units at Linköping Garrison, in peacetime, security crises, and armed attacks. The unit is organized with a staff that coordinates support and implementation departments for supply and technical services. The Logistics Unit is a dynamic workplace with varied tasks and opportunities for personal development. We are expanding, and we need you!
Main Responsibilities
- Warehouse work related to dispatch, delivery, receipt, inventory, care, and control of Swedish Armed Forces' equipment.
- Ordering and procurement of equipment and transportation.
- Packing of orders.
- Reporting in the Swedish Armed Forces' reporting system.
- Other tasks related to warehouse service may occur.
- Participate in networks.
- Shift work may occur.
- Duty in another location in Sweden or abroad may occur.
- Heavy lifting is involved.
Qualifications
- Good computer skills.
- Experience in warehouse management.
- You have a B driver's license (Manual transmission).
- You meet the FM Basic Requirements regarding physical ability.
- Experience in handling ammunition and weapons.
Personal Qualities
You enjoy working independently and in a team, where you are proactive and seek solutions to arising problems. It is essential that you are meticulous, resilient, and willing to work in a changing work environment. As a person, you are positive, outgoing, and enjoy having various contacts both within and outside the Swedish Armed Forces. International service may occur.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' (FM) reporting systems LIFT and PRIO.
- Knowledge of another inventory reporting system.
- Experience with FM equipment.
- Loader/Truck driver's license and ADR.
- C driver's license.
- Military driver's license for cars, minibuses, trucks.
The position is a permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period. The position is located at the Swedish Armed Forces Helicopter Wing in Linköping, with business trips and readiness on evenings and weekends. The position is civilian. Entry by agreement.
During the recruitment process, there will be interviews, security checks, physical tests, and health checks.
