For the supported housing service Ringen, we are now looking for an engaged and responsible support worker for a temporary position at 70% until the end of August.
As a support worker, you will provide daily support to individuals with mental health issues and/or substance abuse problems, focusing on enhancing independence, participation, and quality of life.
The position is a temporary role at 70% until the end of August 2025, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment after the temporary period.
Start date by agreement.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide individually tailored support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, mental health issues, and/or substance abuse problems in their daily lives.
- Support clients in their independence and participation in society.
- Motivate to activities and create structure in daily life.
- Carry out planned interventions according to the individual's needs and agreements.
- Engage in documentation and reporting work according to applicable guidelines.
- Be an important part of the team and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals in the field.
Qualifications
- Certified nursing assistant with additional training in psychiatry or other relevant education.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, mental health issues, and/or in supported housing.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license (B).
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is attentive, patient, and has a genuine interest in working with people in various life situations. You should be able to work independently while also being a good team player.
