At the workshop in Mariestad, we need to strengthen our team with a new employee, so we are now looking for a driven tire technician. The workshop works with both heavy and light vehicles, and you will be part of a team of four employees.

The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probation period and should be filled as soon as possible.

You will work in the workshop receiving customers and their cars to mount/change tires/wheels on passenger cars, trucks, construction machinery, agriculture, etc. Washing and storing tires will also be a significant part of your work tasks.

Since the position also involves heavy vehicles, we are looking for a tire technician with solid knowledge and experience in tires and wheels for heavy traffic, primarily for LV/EM side.

As a customer representative, your tasks will include contacting customers, retail sales, and supporting the site manager in administrative work. You have good social skills and find it easy to create and maintain good relationships with both customers and colleagues. You are diligent and committed, ensuring that customers receive a good reception and excellent service.

This is a profession that suits you if you are willing to roll up your sleeves, enjoy teamwork, and think it is fun to meet customers. As the workload can vary, some overtime may occur, especially during peak season. We prefer that you are used to customer contacts and have a high sense of service.

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience as a tire technician and are accustomed to driving service vehicles, as well as a deep understanding of different tire types and their specifications. Experience with LV/EM is highly meritorious, and you have previously worked with mounting and changing wheels on heavier vehicles such as trucks, buses, construction machinery, agriculture, etc.
• Have the ability to work independently and take responsibility. Positive attitude and engagement.
• Are flexible, stress-resistant, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Are accustomed to customer contacts and have a high sense of service.
• Have a B driver's license; a C license is meritorious.
• Experience and knowledge in wheel alignment are highly meritorious.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Your personality and interest in vehicles will weigh heavier than several years of experience in the industry.
