The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, after-school programs, primary schools, high schools, and adapted primary and secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees at 45 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four high schools. The Position and Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference for students with significant needs for care and support in their education.

You will provide instruction for students in the special education group. You are an important part of helping students succeed both in social situations and in their learning.

Your daily tasks include planning, implementing, evaluating, and ensuring a high-quality educational environment that creates coherence for the students' entire school day.

You should be able to adapt the learning environment based on each student's circumstances, and it is important for you to have clear expectations, a conducive working environment, and a desire to learn. You organize and structure the work based on specified goals. To succeed in this role, you need to build trusting relationships with both educators and students. You are independent and accustomed to working in a differentiated manner.

Malmsjö School is a K-9 school with about 480 students, located by Malmsjön and close to beautiful natural areas. With its location on the outskirts of Botkyrka Municipality, there are good transport links to Tumba, Södertälje, and Nynäshamn.

Who You Are

Requirements: You are a licensed special education teacher with broad subject knowledge. You have a good understanding of students with NPF (neuropsychiatric disabilities). You have knowledge and experience working with a low-arousal approach and a solution-focused mindset.

Meritorious: It is advantageous if you have some form of behavioral science education. We would like you to have prior experience working in special education groups and with students in need of support. We hope you have previous experience in teaching and grading at the secondary level. Personal suitability is highly valued.
