We are looking for a Product Developer with a passion for Lighting and Interior Design and a strong business mindset, who wants to be part of the exciting journey to create growth within H&M Home.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Product Developer for Lighting, you will be part of a dynamic team within the Furniture & Lighting category at H&M HOME. You will take a leading role in organizing and executing the component and product development process efficiently, in close collaboration with our production teams worldwide. Your expertise in lighting products and materials (such as metals, glass, ceramic and innovative lighting technologies) will contribute to meaningful growth and profitability in the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end product development for lighting and décor, from concept to production
• Collaborate with Designers, Planners, and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-efficient development
• Ensure products meet design, quality, sustainability and commercial standards
• Explore new materials, techniques, and trends, especially in lighting
• Support supplier negotiations to achieve target cost and margins

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in product development, preferably in lighting or interior design
• Proven track record of building a strong commercial assortment and generating selling result
• Experience in creating on trend, profitable products within the product category is a big plus
• Experience as a leader, formal or informal, with a strong set of leadership skills
• Have a passion for interior design and in depth understanding of the Customer needs
• Strong visionary and strategic mindset
• Are driven, structured, take initiatives and enjoy working in a fast pace
• Have a strong salesmanship and entrepreneurial spirit and is result oriented
• Are an agile team player with a prestige less mindset and a flexible attitude
• Proven experience working with international suppliers (especially in Asia)

This is a full-time permanent position, starting as soon as possible and is placed at our creative and dynamic head office in central Stockholm.
