Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an IT Controller with solid knowledge of IT operations services. In the role of IT Controller, you will work with budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of services and deliveries – both internally with the client and towards other authorities.

To succeed in this role, a good understanding of IT technology and insight into the factors that drive costs is required. The client operates according to the TBM framework and is currently implementing a tool – Proven Optics – to support cost monitoring related to services and deliveries. You will work closely with the units responsible for deliveries to other authorities, with a particular focus on the client's technical service unit, business controller, and unit manager for overall reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IT costs, identify deviations, and optimize budgets.
• Create reports and dashboards to visualize costs, resource usage, and business value.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies based on data.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 4 years of work experience as a controller in a large organization within the IT field.
• Documented experience with the TBM (Technology Business Management) framework and its principles.
• Documented experience from working with a tool adapted to the TBM framework.
• Experience with financial tools such as Mercur, UBW, or similar.
• Current and very good proficiency in Excel.

Desirable Requirements

• Certification in TBM, e.g., TBM Certified Professional.
• Experience working with cost optimization.
• Good knowledge of Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Experience communicating and collaborating with technical teams and decision-makers.
