The Department of Economy and Governance is part of the municipal executive office and has a coordinating role by providing support and services to the entire municipality. The department's area of responsibility spans the entire economic spectrum, including financial planning, accounting, budgeting and monitoring, liquidity and financing issues, investments, and financial administration. The department is also responsible for the municipality's procurement and purchasing, local strategic issues, and the task of coordinating matters related to operational planning, monitoring, statistics, quality, and analysis. You will belong to the unit for quality and sustainability within the municipal executive office, which is responsible for coordinating issues related to planning, monitoring, statistics, analysis, local strategic work, and sustainability. The unit works strategically to integrate quality and sustainability into the entire municipality's operations and is a key player in realizing Sigtuna Municipality's goals for long-term community development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Would you like to contribute to one of our most important development projects? We are entering an exciting phase where we will procure and implement a new management system and a new financial system. In connection with this, we are now looking for a substitute for our business developer who will step in as project manager for these procurements. As a substitute, you will be responsible for regular tasks related to system management and development, as well as assist in the project management of the new systems. Welcome to a role where you can combine strategic development with operational work at the heart of the municipality's governance.

In the role of business developer, you will:

• Manage and develop our current and upcoming management system and BI system.
• Work with the business strategist and business controllers to develop management structures and governance support within the organization.
• Assist the current business developer in project management of the procurement and implementation of new management and financial systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in economics, computer science, or another relevant field, or other education that the employer deems equivalent in combination with relevant work experience.
• The ability to analyze complex information and translate it into practical solutions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in system management and system development, preferably related to financial systems or management systems.
• Knowledge of management systems, BI systems, and/or financial systems.
• Previous work in the public sector or municipal operations.
• Experience in project management, particularly in procurement and implementation of IT systems.
