JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you our new communicator?

Yes, if you enjoy connecting with people, have a creative streak, and like being part of a dynamic team that works with both strategic and operational communication.

What do you do as a communicator with us?

We are looking for a communicator who is not only skilled at writing texts but can also capture the small and big moments in our operations. We seek someone who loves to communicate with both managers and employees, can convey communication that hits the mark, and finds it fun to be part of a creative, collaborative team.

You will have a broad and varied role, where you will work with both internal and external communication. Your work will range from creating news to implementing strategies and developing our intranet. You will be involved in the development of the municipality's brand and work closely with management teams and our operations to ensure we communicate our message effectively.

What does a typical day look like?

• Produce content for the web and social media
• Create and update text and graphics for the intranet and external channels
• Be our creative engine in communication efforts and develop new ideas to convey our message
• Engage in dialogue with employees and managers to capture current events that we can turn into news
• Support and assist with communication strategies, plans, and materials
• Take an active role in brand work and internal development projects

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an education in media and communication, journalism, or another relevant field. Experience is certainly an advantage, but we place the greatest emphasis on your personality and your willingness to learn and grow.

You are a social and engaged person who enjoys collaborating with many different people. You easily build relationships and thrive as a link between various stakeholders. You are creative, solution-oriented, and have an eye for both details and the big picture, which allows you to see communication in a broader context while not missing the important small details. You also have excellent skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and feel comfortable expressing yourself in an engaging manner.

Experience in project management and working with digital tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Sitevision, or SharePoint is a plus.
