Service Technician at Axson Teknik

Have you worked in industrial maintenance and have experience in electrical systems? Do you also have a strong technical interest? Then we have the job for you!

Axson Teknik is a company within a family-owned corporate group. The group markets equipment, additives, and accessories for soldering, welding, cutting, material testing, and measurement. Axson Teknik started in 1984 and took over the Swedish agency for Harris USA, which manufactures well-known equipment for gas cutting with propane/oxygen. In 1996, Axson Teknik became the Swedish general agent for FRONIUS GmbH, Austria – one of the world's largest and leading manufacturers of welding equipment!

As a Service Technician, your main responsibilities will be to perform warranty and service work on Fronius welding equipment. The work takes place both at their service workshop in Askim and on-site with their customers in Sweden.

This is a direct recruitment, which means that StudentConsulting handles the recruitment process and you will be employed by Axson Teknik. You will work in Axson's service department and be part of an engaged team. Axson offers internal training to give you a deeper understanding of their products. The position mainly involves day trips, but overnight stays may occur if necessary.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Has experience in troubleshooting electrical systems
• Is willing to travel for work, mainly day trips, but overnight stays may occur.
• Has an interest in electronics and technical equipment.
• Has a valid driver's license (B)
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience in industrial welding.
• Experience in welding machine repair.
• Experience in automation, e.g., control & regulation or similar

In the role of service technician, we are looking for someone with a strong sense of service, good organizational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively. You enjoy taking initiatives and can work independently to solve problems and meet customer needs.
