The Role of the Speech Therapist

As a speech therapist, you will work with speech, language, and swallowing assessments and treatments for adult patients. The position is directed towards both inpatient and outpatient neurology.

A strength of our workplace is that we have several speech therapists with different experiences. There is always someone to consult, and we are keen to support each other in our work.

We offer you a full-time temporary position until April 30, 2026, with a start date according to agreement. Opportunities for extension may exist.

The Rehabilitation Center is a regional shared service where various competencies and experiences support the development of the patient, the profession, and rehabilitation from a holistic perspective. Regardless of where in the region one lives, the patient should have access to equitable rehabilitation of good quality.

Approximately 300 employees work within 11 areas at the Rehabilitation Center with a cross-professional composition based on a person-centered approach.

Högland Hospital in Eksjö is the large hospital in the small locality where we have close collaboration and an open dialogue with high ceilings. Our rehabilitation professionals are present in most departments and clinics at the hospital and are an important part of the patient's care process, where teamwork is the focus.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed speech therapist with an interest in working with patients in both inpatient and outpatient neurology.

We appreciate a flexible working style where we work person-centered to utilize the patient's own resources. You enjoy working both independently and in a group. You are structured, collaborate well, and have a holistic view where the patient and their relatives are involved and in focus for your efforts. You are interested in developing and improving the operations and have a creative and solution-focused working style. We place great importance on personal suitability.
