About the Workplace

Sundbybergskliniken is part of Praktikertjänst and our premises are located by the beautiful Marabouparken, a short walk from the tram and commuter train.

We are 30 colleagues, including 4 occupational therapists, providing primary care rehabilitation on behalf of Region Stockholm. With a growing patient base, we need to expand our home rehabilitation team to maintain our appreciated quality in rehabilitation of individuals at home. Therefore, we are looking for a new colleague to welcome and introduce to our wonderful home rehab team. At Sundbybergskliniken, we have two operational managers who maintain a close dialogue with our employees. We have good collaboration with nearby health centers and home care services.

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist in primary care, you will meet a variety of patients of different ages with various issues and backgrounds. The position consists of home rehabilitation where you, as an occupational therapist, play an important role in the team around the patient to create safe and quality care. If you enjoy a lot of variation and a mobile job, this is for you. You will work both individually and in a team with physiotherapists and sometimes with dietitians. You will work with experienced colleagues who are happy to share their experiences when a colleague needs advice and support. You will make assessments in the patient's home environment. You will prescribe aids, participate in certificates for housing adaptations, contribute to dementia investigations, and guide people in the patient's vicinity, etc.

Qualifications

• Licensed occupational therapist.
• Driving license B.
• Experience in primary care and home rehab is an advantage.
• Experience with the journal program TakeCare is an advantage.
