We are the social workers for placed children, acting as their “Authority Parents”. Together with the children's biological parents and foster parents, we create conditions for a good upbringing.

We are a stable workgroup with long and solid experience.

Responsibilities

Being a child social worker involves exercising authority according to both SoL and LVU. We work closely with the child/youth, guardians, foster homes, schools, and other authorities.

You will be offered close leadership, a well-thought-out introduction to the work, frequent methodological guidance, training/retraining efforts, and be part of a guidance group together with other social workers.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is an educated social worker or social pedagogue with qualifications to work with children and youth. It is an advantage if you have experience in social work with children and youth as well as exercising authority. If you have experience in foster care and are well-versed in working with placed children and youth, that is an extra merit.

We want you to be a positive person who enjoys collaborating and cooperating. You are secure and stable, contributing to a generous and good climate in the workgroup. You are also quality-conscious and can express yourself well in speech and writing. The ability to handle cases legally and maintain a structure is important, as well as the ability to establish and maintain a good relationship with the children/youth, their parents, and their foster parents.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
