We at Västerholm are now looking for someone who wants to make a difference! Are you a person who is passionate about supporting students in their language development and loves to work closely with colleagues in a wonderful team? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

In your role with us, you will work both directly with students in need of support and with special educational guidance. You will work across all grades from preschool to grade 9, but with a particular focus on the lower grades. In your work, you will be involved in assessing needs, planning interventions and methods so that students can best benefit from the teaching. In your pedagogical leadership, you are clear, creative, and stimulating, and comfortable using digital tools.

You will be part of the school's student health team, which includes the principal, vice principals, special teachers/special educators, counselors, school nurses, school psychologists, and school doctors. Together, you are responsible for promoting, preventing, and supporting all students, as well as providing targeted interventions. You, along with the other special teachers/special educators, are responsible for having an overview of the special educational needs of the organization and where resources should be allocated. The student health educators are also tasked with mentoring and supporting teachers and after-school staff in working with students in need of special support. The responsibility also includes leading ESM (student support meetings) together with the work teams and the counselor.

• has specialization in language, writing, and reading development, preferably with experience from the lower grades
