Your Responsibilities

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will work alongside GSO MGT's project management and report to the Head of Commercial Project Management. You will have overall responsibility for commercial and financial matters within a defined portfolio of service projects. Your mission is to support the technical project management in the execution of the projects and ensure they achieve their goals regarding costs, time, and quality – while customer satisfaction remains a central factor.

Your Impact and Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for financial and commercial matters, including accounting, legal, tax, currency, and NCM (New Collaboration Model).
  • Management and optimization of financial results with professional accuracy (e.g., gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments).
  • Preparation of commercial documentation for project follow-up meetings and ensuring accurate financial project data throughout the execution phase.
  • Compliance with IFRS15, local accounting principles (GAAP), reporting guidelines, and internal control systems.
  • Ensuring accurate bookkeeping in relevant systems, such as SAP, our internal project platform OnePM, etc.
  • Initiation of invoicing in accordance with project progress and contractual terms.
  • Management of financial guarantees, securities, and project insurances.
  • Support to the project manager in identifying and minimizing non-quality costs and implementing lessons learned in both projects and the organization.
  • Risk management: identification, evaluation, and assessment of risks and opportunities together with the project manager.
  • Opportunity for business travel.

Your Profile

  • Relevant university degree in economics, finance, or similar.
  • Solid commercial experience and financial competence.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a holistic view of business operations.
  • Very good IT skills, especially in SAP and Microsoft applications (Excel, Teams, etc.). Experience with Tableau/Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, curiosity, and ability to take ownership of tasks.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
