We are currently looking for archivists and registrars with a passionate interest in long-term preservation, cultural heritage, and helping our clients with sustainable solutions in their information management. As our clients are located throughout Sweden, this position is not tied to any specific location, and we welcome applications from all over the country.

Job Responsibilities:

For this recruitment, we are looking for both registrars and archivists, and your experience may be in one or both of these professions.

In this role, you will have varied tasks that may include assisting our clients with both strategic and operational issues related to registration, digitization, and archive management. You may work with routine matters related to registration, document and case management, archives, and digitization, such as registration in document and case management systems, disclosure of public documents, mail handling, organizing and cataloging, updating document management plans, reviewing and revising classification structures, archive inventories, and creating order in clients' archives, whether they are analog or digital.

Your role will also include being a sounding board and support for the organization in answering general questions related to archives and registration, as well as assisting our clients in their daily operational work. You will be a key person in the client's work with information management and will have unique opportunities to help develop and drive their document management.

Your Profile

As a consultant at Public People, you will face a variety of tasks, all related to your area of expertise. Our clients face different challenges, and you will have the opportunity to support them in streamlining and improving their archive and information management, both in the long and short term.

We are therefore looking for someone who is flexible, communicative, and has good collaboration skills. You are meticulous, structured, and able to prioritize easily. You thrive in a dynamic work environment with many contact points and varied tasks. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and possess good pedagogical skills, as the work often requires knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

  • University degree in archive and information science equivalent to at least 60 credits
  • At least 2 years of experience working independently as an archivist or registrar, preferably within the public sector
  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
