Translators Wanted for Sweden's Largest Language Company

We at Språkservice are now looking for more freelance translators in the language combinations of Norwegian to/from Arabic, English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Somali, Urdu, Tigrinya, Ukrainian, Pashto, Turkish, Swahili, and Dari. Would you like the chance to collaborate with one of Sweden's largest language companies and a client portfolio that includes some of Sweden's largest authorities and brands?

About Språkservice

Språkservice Sverige AB started its operations in 1995 and is today one of the largest language companies in the Nordic region. Our head office is located in central Malmö, and a local office in Stockholm is under establishment. Språkservice has framework agreements with several of Sweden's largest authorities, including the Migration Agency, the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency, as well as several regions and municipalities. We also have a growing client base in the private sector, where we work with many large brands across various industries.

Together with our translators, we break language barriers. You have a socially important mission and contribute to maintaining both legal and patient safety. You have the opportunity to manage your own schedule and can therefore choose to combine translation with studies or other part-time work.

We follow the ISO standard 17100:2015, which means that our translators must be authorized translators, have a specialized translator education or equivalent language education, and two years of translation experience, or have five years of experience as a translator of specialized texts. • can manage multiple projects simultaneously and is good at planning their time.
• has good knowledge of CAT tools.
• has good knowledge of the Office suite.
• has the target language you translate into as their native language.
