Material Handler

As a material handler in our supportive organization, you play a central role in our team. You will be the link between our forklift drivers, supervisors, and operators, ensuring that production runs smoothly.

In the role, as the "spider in the web", it is crucial that you are always updated on what is happening in production and that you can quickly act to meet our needs.

Are you a structured and solution-oriented person with an interest in logistics and material handling?

We are now looking for a material handler who will become an important part of our team. You have a significant role in our production where you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to our continuous improvements (including working with 5S). This will involve daily contact with colleagues in the warehouse and production.

YOUR MAIN TASKS

• Ensure that the right materials are in the right place
• Work with packing instructions tailored to the materials and production needs.
• Use our business system XA to plan and ensure that the materials reach the correct workstation.
• Be the contact person for forklift drivers in production and provide support for the supervisor in production.
• Participate in startup meetings and, if necessary, handle forklift driving and certification of newly hired forklift drivers according to our safety procedures.
• Collaborate with management and production technology to optimize material handling and ensure efficient workflows.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, with 2-shift work possible.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

We are looking for someone who is flexible and a "service-minded person", who sees solutions and is eager to help where needed. We see that you are structured and can handle a fast pace. You should be able to juggle many tasks without losing focus.

Experience in material handling, warehouse work, or similar roles is an advantage. Good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. Good computer skills and experience with business systems are beneficial.

As forklift driving may occur, it is desirable to have a forklift license; if not, training will be provided internally at NIBE.
