ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Key Account Manager with us, you will play a key role in developing and nurturing our long-term relationships within the building materials trade. You will be responsible for driving sales, developing business opportunities, and ensuring that our customers receive the best solutions.
Your main tasks will include:
- Managing key customers – developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Sales and negotiation – driving business and ensuring that customer needs are met and preferably exceeded.
- Product and market knowledge – being an advisory partner in energy-efficient window solutions.
- Budget and follow-up – setting and following up sales targets and ensuring that business is conducted according to the company's guidelines.
- Collaborating with district sales representatives – For us at Elitfönster, the plan is 5%, and the execution is 95%. The ability to create execution locally through extremely close collaboration with district sales representatives in the field is of utmost importance.
- Collaborating internally – working closely with teams in marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure deliveries and customer satisfaction.
You will be part of a sales team consisting of two KAMs and nine district sales representatives, and you will report to the Sales Manager for the Consumer Division. The position is preferably located at one of Elitfönster's offices in Växjö, Lenhovda, or Vetlanda. There is also the possibility to work from home, provided you have a reasonable commuting distance to Växjö, where you are expected to be a few days a week for internal meetings.
YOUR PROFILE
To succeed in this role, we see that you have/are:
- Fact-based, systematic with entrepreneurial spirit – documented experience of fact-based work, systematic approach, and value-creating development.
- Experience in building materials trade – at least 3–5 years of experience in sales and customer management, preferably within the industry and ideally with energy-efficient solutions.
- Business-oriented and results-focused – documented experience in creating value and negotiating with larger chains/customers. Ability to create sales-promoting material in PowerPoint/Excel.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills – ability to create and develop long-term relationships and business solutions.
- Independence and drive – you take initiative, work goal-oriented, and are responsible for your own sales portfolio. Execution primarily occurs through active personal work, as well as collaboration with district sales representatives locally.
