The Social Administration of the City of Stockholm has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and the area of disabilities. Here, good conditions are created to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service, and we have a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support measures is offered to the city's residents, and the offerings change based on the needs of Stockholmers and the wishes of the district administrations. The work often takes place in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business community. The Social Administration is also responsible for the city's serving and tobacco permits and conducts supervision.

Hamnvikshemmet is located in Nynäshamn and is one of the operations within the Housing Unit of the Social Administration, tasked with assisting users in their process out of homelessness. Hamnvikshemmet is a drug-free care home that has 47 places for women and men who are or are at risk of becoming homeless due to substance abuse and/or psychosocial problems. We are now looking for hourly substitutes and summer substitutes.

Placements at Hamnvikshemmet are made following a decision from the social services in Stockholm's districts, the Unit for the Homeless, or one of the surrounding municipalities with which Hamnvikshemmet has agreements.

Your role

Work in a large kitchen, cooking, washing dishes in accordance with the job description.

Your skills and experience

Previous experience and education in large kitchens. Previous work with people, preferably with prior experience of substance abuse issues.

It is meritorious if you have:
