Head Chef for Eatery Garden Kista

Eatery Sverige AB operates concept restaurants for food and meetings with a local touch. Currently, we have 16 restaurants and conference venues from Åre in the north to Malmö in the south (owned and franchised). In 2023, Eatery Garden at Arlanda was also opened as a variant of the concept. We also have our corporate restaurants, e.g., Social Kitchen, operated in collaboration with Schibsted. Eatery serves between 5000 and 6000 guests daily.

We are now looking for a head chef for Eatery Garden, which opened in September 2024 in northern Stockholm at the Voco hotel. VOCO Hotels is a four-star hotel primarily catering to corporate guests for overnight stays and conference packages during the week. Private guests are offered various weekend and spa package deals. In addition to our restaurant and bar, the hotel features a lounge, gym, spa area with a sun terrace, and a full-scale gym.

Job Responsibilities

As a Head Chef, you will lead the operational work in the kitchen and ensure the quality of our food and menus. You will have personnel responsibility for the kitchen and dishwashing staff. You will be visible, present, and active in the operation, ensuring a high level of quality and service for our guests. As a head chef at Eatery, you may also be responsible for practical introduction and workplace training for new employees at other units opening under the same concept.

You have a strong culinary interest with solid experience and skills in cooking. You work responsibly with the goal of delivering a high-quality meal. Your focus will be, in addition to maintaining our quality and satisfied guests, to develop and drive the team forward.

In this role, in addition to your operational tasks, you will also have administrative responsibilities such as finance, inventory management, purchasing routines, and stocktaking. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to develop and improve the operation and contribute to good cooperation between the kitchen, restaurant, and conference areas. You will create conditions for an open and pleasant working environment and take personal responsibility towards your colleagues by exemplary adhering to applicable industry regulations, being a good leader, and inspiring skill enhancement.
