We are looking for an auditor/investigator for the region's audit office for a permanent position. Currently, four people with different experiences and educational backgrounds work at the region's audit office, providing support to the region's elected auditors who have an independent review role. Within the audit office, we work both independently and in groups, and external consultants are hired as needed for special expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as an auditor/investigator consists of varied and developing tasks in different areas. The work primarily involves planning, conducting, and reporting qualified audits/investigations of the region's various activities, mainly conducted in committees and in corporate form. The results of the investigations are then presented to the client. An important part of the work is the dialogue with the administrations and companies of the audited committees, as well as communication with the client. Public auditing is a developing and learning assignment where, as an auditor/investigator, you constantly develop your experience and competence. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in auditing and/or investigative work and who has a university or college degree, preferably with a focus on economics or social sciences. The work spans many contact areas, and to succeed in the role, we are looking for someone who thrives in an outward-facing role and finds it easy to create and maintain good relationships. The work requires you to be structured, meticulous, self-driven, and possess social competence and personal integrity. You enjoy working both in teams and independently and have a good ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and can express yourself well in both speech and writing. Experience in auditing/investigative work within public operations is an advantage; we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
