At Brotorpsskolan, we focus on learning and base our work on clear teacher-led instruction. We strive to maintain good order, clear routines, and a conducive study environment in our learning spaces.

Brotorpsskolan is located in central Lindesberg. It is a F-6 school with approximately 490 students. The school has three parallel classes and seven teams, all named after precious stones.

The school is led by a team consisting of a principal and two assistant principals. We have a well-functioning student health team with a counselor, special educators, a school psychologist, and school nurses. Pärlan is our special education team with special educators, special teachers, and SVA teachers.

At Månstenen, Solstenen, Ametisten, and Smaragden, we have our after-school programs. Now you have the chance to become a part of Brotorpsskolan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a student-centered mentorship and collaborate closely with your colleagues in the team, where you will together plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching in the three classes in the department. We prefer that you have broad qualifications as we would like you to spend as much time as possible in your mentor class. You will join two experienced colleagues, and together you will welcome a 4th grade class this fall.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching certification for grades 4-6
• We are looking for someone who is a natural leader and passionate about teaching
• You have a good ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the ability to collaborate with all staff at the school
