About the Company

Erik Olsson's Mechanical Workshop is the oldest company in the area. Throughout its development from a village smithy in 1880 to today's high-tech precision company, it has been owned and operated by the Olsson family.

From the late 1940s to the end of the 1960s, the company manufactured its own products for sawmills and the transport industry. In the late 1960s, we transitioned to today's operations, which is contract manufacturing for the Swedish and European engineering industry.

We are now looking for an experienced CNC operator with programming skills for our operations in Tollarp.

Your Responsibilities

You will work at our bed mills where we process the largest components according to drawings. You will program and set up the machines yourself and prepare the jobs in CAD software (Mastercam). Some post-processing will occur, as well as general machine maintenance.

The control system in the machines is Heidenhain. The series are almost always short and customer-specific.

Your Background/Your Qualities

As an applicant for this position, you likely have several years of experience as a CNC operator in a machine park where large components are manufactured. You are proficient in reading drawings and we believe that you at least have basic knowledge of some CAD/CAM software.

We prefer that you have previously worked with Heidenhain. Fanuc is a plus. Forklift and overhead crane licenses are advantageous.

As a person, you are generally workshop experienced and a practical problem solver. You want to take responsibility for what you hand over, while also being able to work in a structured and efficient manner. You are an open person who finds it easy to communicate with your colleagues.
