Kårservice is looking for a cook for extra work as needed at our student houses in Linköping.

Our operations include restaurant, nightclub, conferences, events, and catering, primarily aimed at students at Linköping University (LiU), but we also welcome the general public and businesses.

We are looking for someone who wants a flexible part-time job in a dynamic environment. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with varied tasks in the kitchen, from à la carte and pub food to larger events and catering. Kårservice's mission is to enable a richer student life. We create meeting places for a world-class student life at Linköping University and operate several student houses with unique conditions. Through collaboration with students, associations, and partners, we develop our operations and create more opportunities for community and experiences.

About the position

As a cook with us, you will work as needed at our student houses in Linköping. The work includes everything from preparation and cooking to planning and collaboration with both permanent staff and volunteer students. We welcome your ideas to develop our menus and work with sustainable ingredients and methods.

Working hours vary and include daytime, evenings, and weekends based on the needs of the operations.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in a kitchen, but formal education is not required
• Enjoys taking responsibility and can work both independently and in a team
• Has basic knowledge of food hygiene (HACCP is a plus)
• Thrives in a dynamic environment and appreciates working in a student-oriented operation
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and can be understood in English, as we have a number of international students in our operations
