About the Position

As a driver for our client, you will be responsible for delivering goods from Umeå to Skellefteå in a safe and efficient manner according to established timelines. You will handle loading and unloading of cargo, ensure that all deliveries are properly documented, and follow traffic regulations and safety guidelines. You will also maintain contact with the client's logistics team to optimize delivery routines and ensure high customer satisfaction. Your work will include maintaining the vehicle to guarantee its operational reliability.

About You

Formal Competence

We are looking for someone with a valid C license, YKB, and forklift certification, as well as documented experience driving heavy vehicles. You need to have completed basic training in traffic safety and work environment, and have a good understanding of regulations regarding loading and unloading. To succeed in this role, you should also have good physical ability and be prepared to work varying hours depending on the customer's needs.

Meritorious

It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in logistics or the transport industry and knowledge of different types of trucks and their specific uses. Experience using digital tools for route planning and time-efficient delivery is a big plus. Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have completed training in customer service and communication, which can contribute to better relationships with customers.
