Assembler in Test Equipment Hardware

Your Role

As an assembler within the Test Equipment Hardware group, you will work in a section that develops, designs, and manufactures test equipment used for requirement verification, system testing, and production testing. In the role of assembler in the section, you will assemble cabling, test racks, and adapters based on drawing specifications.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Electrical connections
• Soldering and assembling circuit boards
• Assembling mechanical fixtures and equipment
• Integrating and troubleshooting equipment and products
• Assembling prototype products, both mechanical and electrical

In the role of assembler with us, you will closely collaborate with many different professional groups - from planners, designers, and programmers to chief engineers, production staff, and buyers. You will become part of a cohesive team where we support each other, share knowledge, and have fun together on the way to common goals.

In this role, we would like you to have:

• High school education, preferably with a technical focus or equivalent work experience
• Experience in soldering
• Experience in building cabling
• Knowledge in reading technical drawings
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
