We are looking for a temporary reception manager for Clarion Hotel in Örebro during the parental leave of the regular reception manager. Your main tasks will be to lead and support your employees in guest service and hospitality, plan for staffing and scheduling, and handle ongoing administration.

You should have documented experience in personnel management, be stress-resistant, and prepared for flexible working hours. Ideally, you have education in hotel/restaurant and tourism. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A significant plus is previous experience in hotel reception work and knowledge of the hotel program Mews.

You will report to the hotel director and be part of the management team for Clarion Hotel in Örebro.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and distribute work within the department in an engaging manner.
• Be responsible for recruitment in consultation with the hotel director.
• Be responsible for staffing and scheduling according to budget.
• Report salaries for employees in your department.
• Be responsible for quality, service, and sales towards the hotel's guests.
• Ensure that complaints are handled correctly and that all staff know how to act.
• Be results-oriented and cost-conscious.
• We want you to drive the hotel's reception with knowledge, commitment, and a strong interest in the guest's experience.
• Stay updated and knowledgeable about the hotel's fire and safety procedures.

Start date: By agreement.

Duration: Temporary position for about 12 months.

Clarion Hotel in Örebro is a four-star international hotel with 136 rooms, a conference department, a wellness department, as well as a restaurant and bar. The hotel opened in 2001 and has an annual turnover of just over fifty million SEK. The company is owned by HKC Hotels Holding AB based in Stockholm and operates under a franchise agreement under the Clarion Hotel brand.
