Position as Business Developer

The position as Business Developer is organized within the unit for sustainable transition at the Social and Labor Market Administration and is a project employment until 2026-12-31. The unit for sustainable transition creates conditions for change throughout the Social and Labor Market Administration. We are building the future social services by enabling transition, development, and co-creation. Our work is focused on making services more accessible and even more needs-driven – together with employees and residents. What we do every day creates value for those we meet – and we strive to make a real difference in people's lives.

You step into an important phase where we both develop and strengthen our work within the framework of various transition efforts such as the municipality's growth goals and social sustainability. This is an opportunity for you who want to contribute to something greater and be part of an engaged context with both heart and drive. You will work closely with the management and support the various sectors of the administration.

Your New Job

The administration has a mission to establish and drive a model for idea development and small-scale testing to transition towards the municipality's growth goals, increased accessibility, and social sustainability within the Social and Labor Market Administration. The model will serve as a foundation for developing accessible services and interventions in dialogue, participation, and learning with residents.

We are now looking for an engaged and driven person, and we are curious about how you would like to contribute to the development of future social services? What would you like to contribute to shape a social service characterized by trust, accessibility, and a strong focus on those we are here for?

You will need to be the spider in the web – a person who enjoys service, co-creation, and has their own drive.

Common Tasks

  • Establish and drive the model for idea development and small-scale testing.
  • Evaluate tests and decide on scaling up or down.
  • Promote employee-driven development within the administration.
  • Identify needs within the administration and coordinate with other transition assignments.

Your Competence

  • Relevant higher education or equivalent experience deemed equivalent.
  • Experience in change management, project management, business development, and coordination, preferably within the public sector.
  • Ability to think strategically, tactically, and operationally.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with agile working methods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate employees.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

What You Get

  • A key role in a socially important transition.
  • The opportunity to shape a new role together with us.
  • A creative team focused on collaboration, learning, and moving forward.
  • Flexible working methods and an organization where we test, adjust, and learn together.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, innovative, engaged, and has a positive attitude. You are self-assured, take responsibility, and have a good ability to create relationships and build collaboration. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

In what way can and want you to help create progress in an organization that makes a difference? Welcome with your application!

A Message from Your Future Manager

If you want personal development in a stimulating environment where we make a difference together, I look forward to working with you! Of course, I also value that we enhance each other's skills, have fun together, and come up with different ways of working that create playfulness in everyday life.

The Recruitment Process

We ask that you attach your CV and cover letter to your application. Grades/certificates do not need to be sent with. We will ask you to provide these if it becomes relevant for an interview.
