Your Future Challenge

BAE Systems is currently in an intense period with many parallel projects. Therefore, we want to continue strengthening our electrical systems development department with an additional Team Leader. You will work with a project team that will drive product development forward on a daily basis.

As a Team Leader in electrical systems, you will work across a broad technical area within the Hardware section. This includes groups in electronics, electrical systems, electromechanics, and firmware, where your task will be to lead and support a team of colleagues in an innovative and professional manner. You will report to the Subproject Leader (DPL).

You will be responsible for planning, managing, executing, and following up on work that covers the entire product lifecycle, including:

• Development of future electrical systems.
• Selection of components and establishment of development specifications.
• Creation of schematic designs and manufacturing documentation for cabling.
• Analysis of existing components and subsystems in the market.
• Analysis and testing against military standards.

Our development tool is E3-series, and experience with E3 or similar systems is an advantage.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with experience in team leadership who wants to support and coach their employees towards the company's goals and individual development. We prefer that you have a degree in Engineering or a Technical College in electrical, automation, or electronics systems. As a Team Leader, you need to have good communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate your team. Our projects are fast-paced, and we see you as a person with drive and energy who can contribute creative problem-solving and a positive atmosphere in the team despite stressful situations. For this role, you need to have a technical interest and knowledge in the field. Previous experience in leadership roles is advantageous.

Since we have a very international profile with customers and suppliers, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
