About the Workplace
The Shared Administrative Service (GAS) is tasked with delivering administrative services in the areas of finance, personnel administration, and payroll, as well as development and operational support for the region's IT systems.
Our work is characterized by customer focus and quality, and we actively engage in dialogue with our customers to follow up and develop our services. Through expertise combined with efficiency and service, GAS supports the administrations within Region Halland.
The Payroll and Personnel Service manages employment and payroll for the entire Region Halland, processing approximately 10,000 payrolls each month.
Job Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Registering and ensuring the quality of data in our personnel and payroll administrative system based on information from personnel-responsible managers and management support
- Collaborating with and supporting managers in employment and payroll matters
- Conducting monitoring and reasonableness assessments of payroll disbursements
- Writing certificates and providing information to various authorities
- Staffing our telephone support
All employees at the Shared Administrative Service are expected to participate in the systematic improvement of work methods and routines.
Qualifications
You have a relevant education for the job, such as a YH education in payroll/personnel administration, and preferably a few years of experience. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form and are well acquainted with MS Office. Experience with the personnel system Personec, good knowledge of scheduling, and familiarity with labor law, agreements, and economic and tax issues are advantageous.
As a person, you are engaged, structured, meticulous, have good collaboration skills, a well-developed service mindset, and are open to change. Since the work can be intensive at times, flexibility in handling tasks is required. Personal suitability will be given great importance.
