As an employee at Adolf Fredrik's Music Classes, we offer a calm and safe working environment. Your role

With us, you will work as a music teacher for two classes in the upper secondary school and one class in the middle school. You will be part of a subject team with eleven music teacher colleagues as well as a work team. The work with the school's profile, choir singing, is central. We are now looking for someone with solid experience working with children's and youth choirs and who strives for a high musical level in all conceivable genres. We are looking for someone who is curious about working collectively, not just collegially, and with your skills, you contribute to the whole of the school and to the best for all students.

The available position includes music and choir teaching for two classes in the upper secondary school and two classes in the middle school. You will plan and carry out concerts in collaboration with other colleagues. Additionally, regular tasks within the framework of the primary school assignment are included. Music education at Adolf Fredrik's Music Classes is conducted in half classes, full classes, and several times a week in choir classes of 64 students.

Your skills and experience

Requirements for skills and experience are as follows:

• you are a qualified and certified teacher in the subject of music for grades 4-9.
• you have documented experience and higher education to work as a conductor in choir singing.
• you have very good knowledge of and contacts within the national and international choir scene.
• you are a very good pianist and sight-reader.
• you are a confident and engaged educator who wants to be involved in the students' development and learning.
• you have good leadership in the classroom and work with goal management, planning, and documentation.
• you have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply them practically in daily work.
• you can integrate digital technology into daily operations and as a tool in your own work.
• you have a good ability to work in teams and to collaborate and communicate with people and other organizations.
• as a person, you are flexible and open to the needs of the organization.
