Description

The Transport and Vehicle Department has overall responsibility for the area of transport and vehicles.

We manage and offer transport services with the municipality's vehicles and machines and perform various operational tasks within the area. The department's assignments are carried out in close collaboration with other administrations and companies within the municipal group. The department consists of four units: the transport unit, the haulage unit, the vehicle service unit, and operational support.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a proactive business developer/purchasing coordinator for the operational support unit who can take on a comprehensive ordering role within the municipal group's transport and vehicle-related purchases. Your tasks include;

• Analyzing data from a holistic perspective and developing action proposals
• Conducting environmental analyses and having knowledge of business acumen, finance, fuel, charging, and climate impact.
• Conducting life cycle analyses and calculating life cycle costs.
• Being a project manager in several different development areas

In the role of purchasing coordinator, you will also;

• Coordinate the entire category area of transport requirements in contractual matters.
• Coordinate transport issues and procurement planning with the purchasing department.
• Continuously collaborate with the needs of the ordering operations.
• Take on the ordering role when multiple administrations are involved, instead of the purchasing department doing this.
• Evaluate which services should be purchased externally and which should be provided internally.

Qualifications

You have relevant post-secondary education. Previous experience in purchasing and business development is an advantage.

• Experience in strategic and tactical purchasing work.
• Good knowledge of business acumen, finance, fuel, charging, and climate impact.
• Ability to conduct life cycle analyses and calculate life cycle costs.
• Experience in coordinating requirements in contractual matters.
• A structured and efficient working method
• Good collaboration and communication skills.

The position requires a B driver's license.
