Permascand AB has been delivering electrodes and aftermarket services to the chemical industry for over 50 years. The company has recently merged with Magneto Special Anodes to form a group that is mostly owned by Altor. The merger aims to create a new world-leading company in the manufacturing of catalytic coatings and electrodes. As a buyer, you will be part of “Order to Production,” which means close contact with quotation engineers, designers, and planners. We offer you an exciting role with many points of contact both within and outside the company.

Your work includes:

• Performing call-offs, project, and miscellaneous purchases
• Responsible for delivery monitoring and ensuring deliveries
• Requesting, reviewing, and assessing quotes, as well as negotiating
• Checking and approving invoices
• Approving and registering new suppliers
• Responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality of suppliers
• Entering into agreements with frequent suppliers
• Responsible for handling complaints

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in purchasing, finance, or similar, who enjoys working in a service-oriented and responsible role where both structure and accuracy are of great importance. You are used to working independently and can see both details while keeping an eye on the big picture. You are not afraid of rapid changes as your tasks are partly influenced by external factors. If you also have a background in industry/production and an interest in the green transition, we see that as a significant plus.

As a person, you have good analytical skills, are solution-oriented, flexible, and proactive. You find it easy to collaborate, are social, and have excellent communication skills, which is a prerequisite in your daily contacts both internally and externally. Since we work internationally and the role involves foreign contacts, good knowledge of English is a requirement; you express yourself fluently in both speech and writing. We expect you to be a good user of programs within MS Office, with Excel being a plus, as well as previous experience with business systems, preferably Monitor.

The position is for employment at Permascand AB with placement in Ljungaverk, with some possibility for remote work, but primarily the work is conducted on-site.
