At Elite Stora Hotellet in Jönköping, we are looking for a skilled and flexible chef who can step in and strengthen our kitchen team as needed. You will work in a dynamic and creative environment where quality, taste, and service are the focus.

We are seeking a talented and ambitious chef for our British-inspired pub at the hotel. Here we serve classic dishes with a modern twist, always focusing on quality and the best seasonal ingredients.

About the position:

• Preparation and cooking of dishes according to the menu and season
• Contribute to the development of new dishes and menus
• Ensure high quality and taste in every serving
• Work according to current hygiene and safety regulations
• Collaborate closely with the head chef and other cooks
• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Is flexible and can work days, evenings, and weekends
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is used to handling stress
• Has three years of experience working as a chef, preferably in a pub or gastropub setting
• Is passionate about cooking and has an eye for detail
• Has good knowledge of classic British dishes and techniques
• Is creative and enjoys developing new flavors and presentations
• Is accustomed to a high work pace and can handle stress professionally
• Is a team player who contributes to a good atmosphere in the kitchen
• Speaks Swedish or very good English
• Has good knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP
