We are looking for a project manager for roads to the Swedish Transport Administration, stationed in Skellefteå.

This is a consulting assignment.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places great demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The assignment involves driving, coordinating, following up, and being responsible for BAS contracts for the operational areas of Norsjö and Skellefteå Södra, as well as the initiation and implementation of drainage and load-bearing contracts.

There will be administrative support available, a project engineer who primarily contributes with administrative help and support. There is also access to a maintenance engineer who is an expert on technical issues regarding roads, remedial proposals, etc.

The assignment includes financial responsibility and ensuring that all internal processes regarding documentation of documents are carried out according to the authorities' guidelines.

The role includes leading, following up, and managing an operational area/drainage and load-bearing contracts, as well as having financial responsibility in the contract. There are also colleagues in the section to consult with.

Part of the assignment consists of planning, inventorying, following up, and ensuring the implementation and results of drainage and load-bearing measures on our roads. This involves contact with the County Administrative Board, municipalities, landowners, and internal environmental support.

Good communication skills are required, and it is a significant advantage if experience exists from similar assignments.

Requirements (Note, mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Experience from working in project groups where coordination has been important. B driver's license. At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager within the relevant technical area (project manager General Road). The work experience should not be older than 10 years. Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives within the relevant area. At least 5 years of work experience as a project manager from operations and road maintenance as well as drainage and load-bearing contracts during the contract phase with over 20 million SEK in total turnover. Be trained in PMI (project management methodology). Certification according to TDOK 2018:0371 APV, at least according to the requirements in step 2.2. Have current practical knowledge of relevant standard agreements AB04, ABT06, ABK09 as well as administrative regulations, AMA, and measurement and compensation rules MER. The work experience should not be older than 3 years. Have completed training to function as the client's construction site safety coordinator, BAS-P and BAS-U. Possess basic knowledge of contract law.

Desirable 

For the client, it is an added value to demonstrate experience from similar assignments within the relevant technical areas.
