Do you want to make a real difference in someone else's life? We are now looking for a dedicated personal assistant for a lovely 25-year-old woman who lives about 15 minutes outside Örebro.

She lives with cerebral palsy and severe epilepsy, which means she needs extensive support in her daily life. She uses a wheelchair and primarily communicates through body language and pictures. Even though she cannot walk, stand, or speak for herself, she has a strong will, joy, and an impressive ability to express herself in her own ways.

Her interests say a lot about her personality – she loves horses, music, animals, and has a fondness for fast things like airplanes and emergency vehicles. Three days a week, she attends a daily activity program, which provides variety and structure in her daily life.

This is a job where you not only assist – you become a part of her daily life and contribute to making it safe, rich in content, and filled with joy.

We are looking for someone who is

A responsible and empathetic person, with a genuine interest in other people. You are attentive, flexible, and have an easy time reading body language and adapting to the individual's needs.

Since there are both cats and dogs in the home, it is important that you are not allergic to pets. A driver's license and access to your own car are required to reach the workplace, which is located outside the city.

Working hours and degree of employment

We are looking for someone for regular work, e.g., every other or every third weekend and some evenings. Working hours and degree of employment can be discussed and adjusted according to preferences.

Salary

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base salary per hour + vacation pay and possible additional compensation. A collective agreement is in place.

Start date

Immediately or by agreement.
