Job Responsibilities

Meal Service Halmstad produces and delivers meals to 270 patients and 350 staff and visitors at Halland Hospital Halmstad.

In addition, food is produced for catering. Our mission is to prepare meals from scratch with competence, pride, and care. We honor our traditions while following trends and drawing inspiration from different cultures.

The main tasks include dishwashing. You will ensure the daily operation of our dishwashing facility, where up to 6 people work. Much of it is automated. There is, among other things, a robot that picks most of the baskets. Two dishwashers with their own conveyor belts. You will ensure that the daily cleaning is carried out and that controls are registered in our self-monitoring program.

The work is scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday.

Meal Service is a vital and critical part of the hospital's supply chain, and we work for a robust hospital – where patients and staff are guaranteed a safe and secure environment.

Meal Service Halmstad produces approximately 1000 meals for patients, staff, and visitors at Halland Hospital Halmstad. Additionally, food is produced for catering and café operations. We have about 30 employees distributed across several different professions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in the kitchen and restaurant industry, preferably with experience from large kitchens. Completed training in HACCP is an advantage. You have good digital maturity.

You are a willing worker with a positive attitude. You enjoy working both independently and in a team. We expect you to be interested in food and service and have the desire to take responsibility and engage. To succeed and thrive in the role, you need to communicate and collaborate easily. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
