Ångelstaskolan is a K-5 school with approximately 334 students in the fall of 2024, distributed over 12 classes (two parallel classes K-5). The school has an after-school program with about 220 students.

The school has a stable influx of students and fills its classes well with a student count of between 26 and 30 students per class. In the lower grades, we have full classes (28 students).

The school and the after-school program work closely together, and the staff in the after-school program also work in the school during school hours.

Your mission

As a teacher in the after-school program, you will be responsible for and develop our after-school activities by participating in the development of methods and pedagogy in the after-school program. This includes conducting educational activities both outdoors and indoors. You are expected to contribute with your pedagogical knowledge based on the compensatory mission of the after-school program, as well as drive pedagogical development and ensure meaningful content in the after-school program.

Your background

We are looking for someone with a Swedish teaching license with qualifications for the after-school program. You have a good understanding of the school's and after-school program's governing documents as well as the curriculum for compulsory school. The job requires you to have good oral and written skills in the Swedish language.

If you have qualifications to teach in any of the school's subjects and experience working in an after-school program, this is considered an asset.

As a person, you are flexible and can see opportunities in changes. You are pedagogical and have an understanding of people's different conditions for acquiring knowledge. The job suits you if you find it easy to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner.
