The purpose is part of the concept of Close Care, where we place great emphasis on collaboration both within the region's mission and together with municipalities to enable seamless care for our patients/residents.

The transition to good and close care aims for patients and relatives to feel involved in healthcare, that care should be easily accessible and provided with good continuity. This means that care needs to be organized, coordinated, and conducted more based on the patient's needs and conditions, also to strengthen health. Within the Primary Care area West, we strive for a tailored approach just for you who like innovative thinking and have collaboration at the center of all contexts. The goal of this approach allows our patients to be in focus and that we together strive for unique working methods where your experiences and knowledge are valuable.

We are now looking for specialist physicians for a combined assignment within each specialty and the development of Good and Close Care. The positions are permanent full-time employment with start dates according to agreement.

As a specialist in general medicine, internal medicine, or geriatrics, you will be part of the medical team in the Primary Care area West. The work is combined through regular duties for the competence you possess and assignments related to Close Care. The main job responsibilities include patient responsibility, which means being responsible for medical investigations, assessments, and treatment of patients.

You will work in a team with nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, and dietitians. The role also includes administrative work.

We are looking for you who

• Are a specialist physician in general medicine, internal medicine, or geriatrics
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience working in primary care and on-call
