About the role

We are now looking for a social worker for an assignment as a social secretary / case officer for children and youth. The assignment runs from immediately until August 15, 2025, with a chance of extension. In this role, you will have the opportunity to motivate and follow up on interventions, coordinate efforts for individuals with complex issues, as well as perform regular work with children and youth. The assignment is suitable for you who want to develop in a dynamic environment and contribute your expertise in social work.

This assignment has a deadline for applications on April 13, but we have several similar assignments and are always interested in connecting with competent social workers.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a degree in social work
• Has at least 4 years of experience working with children and youth
• Has a driver's license
• Is quick to learn computer systems
• Is well-versed in the Social Services Act, Administrative Procedure Act, LVU, and the Privacy Act
• Has experience in mentorship
• Has the ability to work independently and in a team
• Has good communication and collaboration skills
• Is accustomed to documenting and working according to applicable guidelines
