Norrköping Port is one of the larger ports in the country, with many national and international customers. The operations are run by Norrköping Port AB, which is owned by Norrköping Municipality. The port plays a central role in the development of the region as a strong logistics hub. The company is in an exciting phase with a long-term development of the organization, new business areas, and expansion of the port facilities.
With the ongoing investment, we meet the future demands for increased cargo volumes, efficient logistics, and larger vessels.
Your Responsibilities Norrköping Port is in an exciting development phase and is now looking for team leaders for several departments. Here you will have the opportunity to lead a team in a dynamic environment where collaboration, development, and sustainable work processes are in focus. By planning, leading, and distributing tasks, you ensure a smooth workflow in a safe environment. The role requires presence in the operations, where you as a team leader create structure and security while supporting and motivating your team.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that the right personnel, machines, and equipment are in place.
- Conducting staff meetings and creating clear and open communication within the team.
- Actively working on workplace safety – both preventive and through improvement measures.
- Collaborating with other departments to create effective logistics solutions.
- Driving change and improvement projects to develop the operations long-term.
As a team leader, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 10–15 employees working shifts, which means varying working hours. On-call duty and overtime may occur.
Your Profile We are looking for someone with experience in leading teams in environments where the pace is high and conditions can change rapidly. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have worked as a team leader in a dynamic environment, where you have needed to adapt to new situations and make quick decisions.
We see that you are a person who builds trust and engagement by being present and attentive. You have a natural ability to get your team to work towards common goals while maintaining a clear structure and finding solutions when challenges arise. With your communicative and clear style, you make people feel secure and motivated, and you take responsibility for making decisions even when the situation requires quick and thoughtful solutions.
