Social Administration's Mission

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and competent case officer to investigate and handle cases according to the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) legislation.

You will work alongside a colleague within LSS, which means you will not be alone in your work.

As a case officer, you will investigate and handle applications according to LSS legislation. You will make decisions and follow up on services according to IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus). You will investigate, among other things, the affiliation of the person group and services based on LSS such as personal assistance, daily activities, contact persons, etc. The position includes collaboration within the municipality as well as with other authorities and organizations.

As a case officer, you need to be structured, meticulous, and able to independently plan your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree from the social work program, social care program, or other post-secondary education deemed equivalent by the employer, including law with authority exercise. Experience from similar work is an advantage.

You have a holistic view in your work and the ability to make different parts collaborate are important qualities, as well as engagement and a willingness to develop. Understanding and respect for working in a politically governed organization is necessary for this role. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
