Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

The customer is a man in his 30s with interests in IT/technology, outdoor activities, cooking, and he also has a slight interest in plants. Humor and irony are important to him.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a man in his 30s living in Laxå
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has a manual B driver's license
• is smoke-free during working hours
• has good physical condition and can perform lifts and transfers at work

It is also a merit if you:

• have experience in similar work

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assignment lasts" and the employment rate is approximately 47%. The shifts are scheduled as day shifts with on-call hours at night.

We are also looking for hourly substitutes who can work as needed.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
