What does the role of Shift Leader Breakfast entail?

Your primary role is to support the operations within our food and beverage departments with various operational tasks so that the employees closest to the guest can focus entirely on providing world-class service. Your tasks include simple cooking, preparation, serving, and maintaining order in the kitchen and common areas. You ensure that dishwashing, cleanliness, and self-control run smoothly and in accordance with food policies, concepts, and manuals.

In the role of Shift Leader, you are responsible for hosting the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operations, you have an overall overview of the guest flow in the restaurant and work with the team to prioritize tasks so that the operation flows smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and delegate work and manage staffing during your shift. If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel, and you will also relieve the Breakfast Manager of certain administrative tasks.

Who are you?

To fit in this role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in a similar position and experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and the desire to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and possess both integrity and a sales drive. However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit in this role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
