ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and designing OCS's own products. You will be responsible for supporting project teams with technical development and mechanical expertise, as well as integrating and adapting customers' and suppliers' products and equipment. Your ability to understand technical specifications and requirements will be crucial for optimizing product design and ensuring high quality. You will also work closely with internal electrical designers and PLC programmers to optimize integration and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties

Development and design of OCS's own products
Integration and adaptation of customers' and suppliers' products and equipment
Working according to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) procedures
Active work with Continuous Improvements
Transforming identified deviations into Engineering Change Orders
Preparation and management of technical documentation
Supporting workshop teams and sales with technical expertise as needed

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has a master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as mechanics or engineering
Has experience in technical development and mechanical design
Has experience with Product Lifecycle Management
Has experience with Continuous Improvements and handling Engineering Change Orders
Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
