About the Company
Norrköping Port is one of the largest ports in the country, serving many national and international customers. The operations are managed by Norrköping Port AB, owned by Norrköping Municipality. The port plays a central role in the development of the region as a strong logistics location. The company is in an exciting phase with a long-term development of its organization, new business areas, and expansion of port facilities.
With the ongoing investment, we meet the future demands for increased cargo volumes, efficient logistics, and larger vessels.
Your Responsibilities
As a project manager, you will play a central role in leading and driving projects in land, construction, facilities, and technical installations. You will be responsible for the projects from idea to implementation, which involves managing budgets, procurement, and coordination of resources, as well as taking an active role in strategic and technical decisions. We want you to feel a strong ownership of the projects and have the freedom to steer the development. Here you will have the opportunity to take on an exciting role with great freedom under responsibility and the chance to influence and contribute to a long-term sustainable development of Norrköping Port.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Lead and drive infrastructure and facility projects from start to finish.
- Be responsible for project budgets and ongoing financial monitoring.
- Conduct construction and project meetings and coordinate resources internally and externally.
- Work independently with procurement according to the Public Procurement Act.
- Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the port's long-term growth through strategic development work.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with experience in leading construction and facility projects, preferably within infrastructure or other relevant experience. You have a natural drive and take responsibility for moving projects forward, while being a confident leader who supports and guides others in their work. You are structured and solution-oriented, but also have the ability to see the big picture and act strategically. You thrive in collaboration with various stakeholders and can communicate clearly and effectively in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Additionally, you see opportunities in change and have an interest in growing in your role and taking on new challenges.
To thrive in this role, you need to:
- Be self-sufficient and able to handle both administrative and technical tasks without losing focus on the overall picture.
- Have experience working with budgets and financial monitoring, as well as making well-founded decisions based on analyses.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience in contract law and public procurement.
- Experience from the contracting side.
- A technical education in construction, facilities, or equivalent.
- Good IT skills and preferably experience with CAD and/or Antura.
