Your mission

As a property technician, you are a key player who ensures that our customers are satisfied and that our properties are in good condition and meet customer and authority requirements. We are looking for someone with several years of experience in performing daily property operations through supervision, maintenance, and upkeep of buildings, technical systems, installations, and grounds. The role includes responsibility for rounds and ensuring that preventive maintenance is carried out, as well as performing tasks of a janitorial nature. As a property technician, you will collaborate daily with colleagues within Lokalfastigheter, customers, and contractors. Your immediate manager is the property manager Fredrik Enqvist, and supervision is conducted through our technical manager Thomas.

As a property technician, you will have the opportunity to work with:

  • Conducting rounds, maintenance, and preventive and corrective maintenance work according to established routines and processes
  • Ordering and purchasing materials for operations and maintenance
  • Ongoing maintenance of a simpler nature of buildings, technical systems, installations, and grounds
  • Handling fault reports according to established routines and processes
  • Execution and control of maintenance measures according to agreements on an annual, monthly, and weekly basis, such as fire alarms and grounds maintenance
  • Participating in systematic fire protection work
  • Participating in maintenance planning as well as budget and forecasting work
  • Engaging and coordinating contractors for work within the assignment

Who are we looking for?

Our new colleague needs to have at least post-secondary education in property technology/management or equivalent, as well as several years of previous professional experience in a similar role. The role also requires a professional level of Swedish, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is a requirement.

To succeed in the assignment, we see that you have a good technical understanding of HVAC, ventilation, electricity, control, and regulation technology. You need to be experienced in working with various case management systems and have the capacity to handle multiple service requests simultaneously.

The work involves a lot of contact with the city's operations such as preschools, libraries, nursing homes, and sports facilities, so it is important that you are communicative, service-oriented, structured, and solution-oriented. You thrive in independent work and want to help develop our properties.

It is a merit if you have experience as a facility manager for fire alarms and/or have previously worked as a carpenter, electrician, or control and regulation technician.
